The 2003 Medicare legislation has been characterized as the most significant change since the program was created. Not only does it add prescription drug coverage, but the legislation changes the payments to managed care plans, adds subsidies to retiree health care plans, and makes other changes. Come hear a description of the legislation, its cost estimates, and how employers are reacting to it.
